November 7th, Galway, Ireland: This week, Galvia, a leading Galway-based AI company, hosted an AI Adoption Accelerator breakfast at Platform94, drawing strong interest from local business leaders. Supported by Platform94 and Galway Chamber, the event introduced Galway businesses to the Galvia AI Adoption Accelerator, a hands-on program starting in January 2025 designed to help Irish SMEs integrate AI solutions into their operations for enhanced efficiency and growth.
Opening remarks by Platform94’s Marie Donnellan set a collaborative tone, welcoming a diverse group of local businesses eager to explore AI-driven innovation. Esteemed speakers provided valuable insights: Irish tech journalist Elaine Burke offered a clear view of the AI landscape, while Victor Timon, AI regulation expert and partner at ByrneWallace LLP, emphasised the importance of AI policies and ethical considerations. Galvia’s John Clancy detailed the upcoming Accelerator, explaining how it will support SMEs in developing custom AI models to drive revenue and engagement.

The five-week Accelerator, delivered in a hybrid format at Platform94 and online, will include sessions led by AI experts and legal workshops by ByrneWallace LLP. Participating businesses will develop tailored AI solutions using their own data, creating actionable plans for sustainable AI integration.
